Dan Kellegher was a member of the first Board of Directors of Tralee Credit Union Ltd when it was set up in 1968. Over the years, Dan held different positions on the Board and was Chairman of the Board at the time of his death in 1990.

To honour the late Dan Kellegher and his contribution to the credit union movement, we are delighted to award €1,500 each to two credit union members undertaking a post graduate course of study.

This award is based on the member doing a full time course or part time post graduate or masters of at least 1 year’s duration.

It will be paid in one instalment in November.

PLEASE NOTE Students must be attending college to enter, be members of Tralee Credit Union and apply using their own account details. Only members attending college can apply for these awards.

A parent/guardian cannot use their own account details to enter on behalf of their child. Students must apply themselves using their own credit union account.

The student attending college must be a member or become a member of Tralee Credit Union Ltd by 30th September in the year of application.

Only one application per member may be considered.

Award winners will be required to provide proof of college place and course of study.

This award is based on the member doing a full time or part time postgraduate or masters of at least 1 year’s duration.

This award is paid in one full instalment in November.

Each award winner will receive €1,500 for one year of their course of study.

Closing date to submit your entry online is  Saturday 30th September 2017.

The Draws will take place 14 days after the closing date.

These Draws will be made in the presence of independent witnesses and all applicants will be notified by email.

All award winners must give consent and be available for any advertising and promotions associated with these awards.

Tralee Credit Union Board of Directors, staff, members of the youth committee and their immediate families are excluded from entering these draws.

The decision of the Board of Directors concerning the operation of the draws and on any matter pertaining to the draws will be final.
