We are currently hiring for an IT Support Officer and Member Service Representative roles as listed below.
Reporting to the IT Manager, the IT Support Officer will ensure smooth, reliable IT operations across the credit union. The role will provide first-line support to our staff, manage IT infrastructure, enhance IT security measures. The role supports end users across all branches, both deskside and remotely, and represents the frontline of the IT function on first and second-line support, maintaining systems and devices, assisting with security, and contributing to upgrades and modernisation. Position is permanent, Full-time, 37 hours per week with location dependent on candidate; onsite in Killorglin or Tralee, Co. Kerry, with requirement to be stationed throughout the branch network as required.
Role Requirements
· Post‑secondary or Third level qualification in IT or related.
· Understanding of IT systems, networking, and security fundamentals.
· Working knowledge of Windows 10/11, Windows Server 2019, Active Directory, Microsoft 365.
· Basic networking and firewall concepts.
· Strong troubleshooting across PCs, laptops, phones, peripherals, and software.
· Clear communicator, able to explain technical issues simply.
· Strong organisation and prioritisation; service-oriented mindset.
· Self-motivated, eager to learn, team oriented, and detail focused.
· Full clean driving licence and access to transport for inter branch travel.
· Alignment with the ethos and values of the credit union.

We are recruiting for Member Service Representatives to join our team. Positions are full-time (37 hours per week), permanent. Flexibility is a key requirement, and applicants should have access to their own transport and be open to working throughout Cara’s 6 branches depending on business needs.
Reporting to the branch manager, our MSRs are the main point of contact for all existing and potential new members, they will have an excellent customer care ethos, delivering exceptional service via telephone, online and email to our members. Applicants should be motivated to learn and develop cross functional skills, committed to achieving high standards and be open to undergoing training to become a qualified financial advisor on commencement.
Skills and Competency Requirements
Ideally experience within a financial regulated, customer facing environment, APA/ QFA / CUA qualifications or equivalent desirable but not essential.
