We have been informed that there is currently a phishing scam targeting Credit Union members. Members who have been targeted will receive an email from an address that seems legitimate, and will be titled something around a special loan and/or winning a competition. Many of these scams are designed to infiltrate members’ computers, monitoring their online interactions and recording personal details with a view to gaining access to personal financial accounts. Please remember Cara Credit Union never ask members to provide their Online Banking or CuAnywhere App login details through email. In addition, Cara Credit Union will never disclose your account details or personal details via email.
